18 november 2018 – Begin dit jaar ben ik met de NWG45+ in contact gekomen via een lid van jullie. Ik was wat ongeduldig, kon niet wachten op de volgende introductiegroep, want ik wilde graag direct starten. Heel fijn dat jullie mij toen een soort versnelde introductie kon geven binnen de netwerkgroep. Vanaf die tijd heb ik mogen ervaren dat het erg fijn, motiverend en helend is om met mensen die in hetzelfde schuitje zitten in contact te komen.
De workshops van o.a. het Belmeisje, Wendy Hooghiem, Eric van Lierop en Nannette Mees van PSC ’t Kan die ik heb mogen volgen zijn waardevolle kadootjes. Maar zeker ook de workshops voorbereid door eigen leden! Het solliciteren, netwerken, de sollicitatiegesprekken, de afwijzingen te kunnen delen met jullie was fijn en motiveerde en stimuleerde mij.
Ook het sporten bij sportcenter Fudochi (het programma ‘Sport beweegt naar werk’) op de vrijdagmiddag draagt enorm bij aan een positieve mindset en je werkfit maken, echt een aanrader!! Na het sporten praten we nog even na bij een kop thee of koffie, ontspannen en gezellig!
Mijn zoektocht naar werk was succesvol en 15 november ben ik begonnen als medewerker bij de Radboud. Een hele leuke functie binnen een inspirerend team en ook nog eens op een prachtige werklocatie nl. het Erasmusgebouw. Ik blijf graag ambassadeur van de NWG45+ en zal waar ik kan de komende maanden de bijeenkomsten blijven bezoeken, zodat we in contact blijven. Bedankt voor jullie support, heel veel succes allemaal.
