Op het provinciaal jaarcongres ‘Gelderland ziet ruimte’ van 7 juni a.s. houden Cees van Diemen en Harre van der Maat, beiden van BRN Projecten, hun presentatie: Stadscamping Nijmegen, van overheidsplanning naar organische planning’.
Hun ‘TED Talk’ – staat voor Technologie, Entertainment en Design – beschrijft in vogelvlucht de geschiedenis van de ruimtelijke ordening. Van Hollandse plan-economie waarin overheid, projectontwikkelaars en banken aan zet zijn, tot de organische planning waar niet geld en macht centraal staan, maar de wens van de ruimtegebruiker. In die nieuwe planning is er naast wonen en werken tijd en ruimte om na te denken over de circulaire economie, het milieu, sociale struc-turen en nieuwe verdienmodellen. Samenwerken, vertrouwen, ambitie, geloof en co-design zijn het adagium.
Sprekers Harre van der Maat en Cees van Diemen nemen u mee in het verhaal van Stadscamping Nijmegen. De stadscamping is een biotoop waar wonen, werken, ontmoeten en genieten samenkomen. Op de camping is veel te doen in de recreatieve en ambachtelijke sfeer en op het gebied van ken-nis, kunst cultuur en filosofie. De activiteiten zijn ‘smart’ en toekomstgericht. Zo ontstaat een inspirerende omgeving waarin bewoners de koers bepalen. De stadscamping is tijdelijk: na vijf jaar vertrekt ze weer. Wat achterblijft is een open structuur van kennisdeling en verbinding.
